Many know that today Nintendo has its favorite franchises, among them are The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon and of course, Mario; However, some fans want the return of Sagas such as the acclaimed f-zero._ From a mini game in Nintendo Land There has been nothing new from the saga, but could return due to a track that left reggie Fils-Aimé.
In a recent interview that the former president of the Kyoto company had in his division of America, he mentions that the series has not returned precisely because of the lack of innovative ideas that justify his return. That has made the Executive think that he is still in the sights, but under a secondary plane while they come up with something new.
Here his statements in the interview:
Why was F-Zero abandoned? The idea I would share is that, at least during my mandate, Nintendo developers were always experiencing with different game styles, always thinking where a unique experience could be re -applied, either to an existing franchise or perhaps creating a new.
My bet is that somewhere in Kyoto's development centers, some creator is playing with an idea that could be applied to F-Zero. It is never a situation, at least in my experience, in which the company makes a conscious decision not to continue supporting the Xyz franchise. Historically, it simply has not worked that way, at least not when I was there.
On previous occasions, the same creators who worked in the game of Gamecube, f-zero gx, said they were interested in bringing back to the franchise. But for now, everything is uncertainty.
